Grid-Mining Edge Calculator
All-tiles strategy — you commit to every square, so you win every round. The question is only whether the STONK you mine (plus jackpot EV) beats the 10% bleed.
| Your share of pot | 0.002250 ETH (5.00%) |
| ETH bleed / round (10% of stake) | −$0.48 |
| STONK mined / round | 0.0500 STONK |
| STONK value / round | +$0.05 |
| Net (no jackpot) | -$0.43 |
| Jackpot EV / round | +$0.08 |
| If jackpot fires now you collect | 0.02500 ETH |
| Net (with jackpot EV) | -$0.35 |
| Break-even STONK price | $7.98 |
| Break-even pot | 0.01326 ETH |
With the all-tiles strategy you always hold the winning square, so every round you recover ~90% of your stake from the pot — the bleed is exactly 10% of what you deploy. In exchange you mine stake ÷ pot of the round's 1 STONK emission. Mining is profitable when your share of the emission (valued at the STONK price, minus the 10% refining fee if you cash out) exceeds the bleed. The jackpot adds 1/625 × your share × pool of expected value per round — small per round, but it compounds, and when it fires you collect your share of the entire vault including its accumulated stocks. Smaller pots mean a bigger share of the emission: if the live pot is under the break-even pot, you are being paid to mine.
